April Already

Well my last post ended off after my trip to vegas with Robert and Erin. Wow that was a quick trip and a quick visit with Erin. We really had some fun times doing the Six Tunnels to Hoover Dam half marathon, Erin did the 5km!
Father and daughter each placed 2nd in their age group...fantastic!

We have been doing a little house shopping now that the prices seem to be dropping and becoming more affordable. We are also in preparation for Jonathan's arrival at the end of the month. I think our friends are excited about spring coming we seem to have had numerous dinner invitations lately. Easter is upon us this w/e and hopefully we will get some good running and biking in. Today was our first outdoor ride, the boys went one way and the girls went the other...here we are all bundled up!

2009 Busy Busy

Well I have not posted since 2008 and I figure my hubby is putting me to shame with his blog so I had better get at it and write something. January was busy getting into the new year and then on January 30th the girls were off to Huntington Beach to run the Huntington Beach Marathon/Half marathon.



It was a great trip and a great race. While we were there we celebrated my birthday with a trip to see the famous mouse. It was my first time and I loved every minute of it.



February flew by and I started a new job with 911 at the GP Fire Dept and then we booked a trip to Vegas for Erin's March break. I think this will be a great year of travel and fun races. We are doing the 6 Tunnel Run to Hoover Dam next w/e while in Vegas another half marathon. We have also registered for the Calgary 70.3 half ironman! Four weeks after 70.3 is Ironman Canada so like I said fun, fun! Cervelo bikes are coming to town at Ernie's and I think we may look at getting a couple of new bikes this year as well? Looking forward to heading to Edmonton next Thursday and flying out on friday. Stay Tuned...
